LAUNCH OF KHARTOUM – WAU – JUBA FLIGHTS EXPECTED NEXT WEEK

Information was received from Juba that BADR (IATA: J4), based in Khartoum, will next week resume services between the Sudanese capital and Wau before flying on to Juba, the capital of South Sudan.BADR, previously known as Sarit Airlines, according to added details seen halted operations several years ago on the route to Juba but is now resuming flights after signing a deal with Aloor Airlines in South Sudan, an entity nothing is known about nor have web searches revealed any ownership, fleet or other facts.
A technical team of BADR was reportedly checking out the airport facilities in Wau recently to ascertain safe operations are possible.
Flights, using a Boeing B737-500, will initially take place twice a week, every Monday and Friday and route from Khartoum via Wau to Juba before returning to Khartoum.
