#Angola Ministry of Tourism is the primary sponsor of the ‘Africa Tourism Awards’

Angolan tourism is once again recognized across borders, with three national representatives distinguished at the Africa Tourism Awards 2025 (The Balearica Awards), one of the most prestigious platforms for valuing African tourism.

The Brand Ambassador of Visit Angola – The Rhythm of Life, Jessi Madalena, was announced as the winner of the “Young Tourism Personality of the Year Award” category, a distinction that recognizes young leaders who stand out for their innovation and contribution to the sustainable development of tourism in Africa.

In the same vein, the Director-General of the Institute for Tourism Promotion (INFOTUR), Allícia Santos, was selected as one of the five winners of the “Industry Icon Award“, an award that distinguishes personalities whose leadership and vision have driven the growth and modernization of the tourism sector on the continent.

In turn, the also Brand Ambassador Visit Angola – The Rhythm of Life, Jessé Manuel, is among the finalists in the “Best Tourism Photography Award” category, for his artistic work in promoting the natural and cultural beauty of Africa, whose winner of the category will be known during the awards gala.

The Ministry of Tourism congratulates the distinguished for the international recognition, highlighting the contribution of each one to the enhancement of national tourism and to the promotion of the Visit Angola – The Rhythm of Life brand, whose mission is to project Angola as an authentic, vibrant and welcoming destination in the African and world context.

The awards ceremony will take place on November 2, 2025, at the Hilton London Canary Wharf in London.
