Experience Magical KenyaDuring ATA’s 40th Annual World Congress Host Country Day

During the Congress Host Country Day delegates will have the
opportunity to visit the Ol Pejeta Conservancy or Lake Nakuru
National Park.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy situated between the foothills of Mount Kenya
and Aberdares is one of Kenya’s best kept conservation havens. The
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is one of the only wildlife protection areas
that’s home to very high numbers of endangered species. Aside from
the big 5, more than a thousand different mammals and bird species

Lake Nakuru was first gazetted as a bird sanctuary in 1960 and
upgraded to National Park status in 1968. The Park has Kenya’s
largest population of rhinos. The surface of the Lake Nakuru occupies
about a third of the park. It supports a dense bloom of the blue-green
Cyanophyte Spirulina platensis from which it derives its colour and is a
food source for flamingos. During peak season over millions of
flamingos and pelicans congregate on the lake. Read more… |

called "ACE" – for Ambassadors,

Leaders Highlight
Ten Priorities for
Growth in Africa
Following a meeting of hotel industry
leaders, convened to discuss hotel
development in Africa, Bench Events,
the organizer of the Africa Hotel
Investment Forum (AHIF) has
produced a list of ten priorities to
facilitate the growth of the sector,
under five headings: Long-term
Planning, Finance, Development,
People and Culture. Jennifer Pettinger,
Managing Director, Bench Events,
concluded: “All these
recommendations and more will be
on
the table for debate at AHIF, where
we expect strong participation by
government ministers and officials as
well as the hospitality industry.”

Planning and Development, and
Marketing Departments. The
internships are full time for a period of
