THE ATCNEWS TEAM WISHES ALL READERS A PEACEFUL AND RESTFUL CHRISTMAS AND A HEALTHIER, HAPPIER AND BETTER 2021
(Posted 21st December 2020)
The ATCNews team will as usual tune down reporting until early January 2021 but breaking news stories will of course be covered as and when.
It has been a challenging year, for the aviation, travel and conservation sectors around the world but also on a more personal level.
Having suffered a stroke in September have I thankfully recovered well so far and with treatment continuing do I hope that my remaining speech impairment will sooner or later also be healed.
I take the opportunity to sincerely thank all those who helped to keep ATCNews going and to the new contributors who helped widen the scope and subsequent readers reach.
2020 was to be a very special year and turned out to be the exact opposite from what I had expected and planned for.
The cancellation of conferences, trade fairs and events for which ATCNews and yours truly were signed up had an impact on resources and it is hoped that ways and means can be found to remedy the fallout and turn 2021 into a better year.
If I have but one piece of advice to my readers – embrace your family and friends because when push comes to shove as it did this year, they are the ones you rely on and the ones you can turn to for help.
