BEST WESTERN PLUS SET TO ENTER THE KAMPALA MARKET

Another Best Western brand has come to Kampala following the rebranding of the Athena Hotel in Bugolobi.
A Best Western Plus has been missing in the market although the hotel group has made an entry into Uganda several years ago when a new hotel at one of Entebbe’s malls became a Best Western Premium franchise.
When the hotel opened a few years ago it was managed directly by the owner but with the pandemic posing additional challenges did a change of heart take place, leading to the adoption of the franchise of Best Western, a very good fit for this three star hotel.
A fuller review will take place once the author is back in Uganda towards the middle of the year.
