#ATTA Board appoints Kate Kenward as Director

KATE KENWARD APPOINTED TO THE ATTA BOARD

ATTA® is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Kenward as a director on their Management Board effective today.

With almost 30 years’ experience in the travel industry, Kate is well known for her work in destination marketing, PR and promotions for Tourism Australia during 15 years as marketing communications manager EMEA.

With a passion for special interest travel Kate undertook the executive director role at AITO (The Specialist Travel Association) for 11 years, raising their brand and lobbying profile while leading their strategic and digital transformation.

Since leaving AITO in 2019, Kate has used her experience and skills as a consultant on a variety of projects for other associations, tour operators, travel technology specialists, destinations and more recently on a FCDO funded project to evaluate the tourism potential of Sierra Leone.

In these challenging times, Kate will greatly assist our lobbying and industry issues work along with her advocacy skills to help inform and promote the work of ATTA® on behalf of our members.”
