(Posted 03rd October 2017)

The African Travel and Tourism Association, in short ATTA, has now announced the dates for the launch of their new dedicated tourism marketing show in London next summer.
The organization, the largest of its kind dedicated to the promotion of travel to Africa, will in conjunction with Talking Stick Marketing hold their ‘Experience Africa‘ event from the 25th of June to the 27th of June inclusive in London.
This will be a strictly enforced ‘By Invitation Only‘ marketing trade show featuring all segments which make the industry tick from luxury boutique properties to transport and on to mid market accommodation and even overland tour organizers, all linked by one commonality, AFRICA.
The format of the event will be a table top workshop set up with a guaranteed 42 appointments over the three day event, banking on an advance matchmaking system. Also part of ‘Experience Africa‘ will be seminars, a networking get together and the second edition of the AVIS/ATTA media awards.

Said Nigel Vere Nicoll and Chris Mears to this correspondent at the ongoing Magical Kenya Travel Expo in Nairobi: ‘June is a great month in the UK and off season in Africa. It is the perfect time for suppliers from Africa to join us in London in June 2018 to connect not only with the international buyers but also with the print and broadcast media that cover Africa. Look out for the supplier registration which will open by mid October. An early bird booking rate will be available at UK Pounds 2.350 (plus VAT where applicable) before it will rise to 2.650 nearer to the event‘.

Meanwhile will the organization bring their members together tomorrow evening, 04th of October on the sidelines of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo for a networking session,
