Auric Air issues public statement following Seronera accident

TANZANIA’S AURIC AIR ISSUES STATEMENT ON SERENGETI ACCIDENT

Further to a recent report by ATCNews had Auric Air now issued a public statement about the unfortunate accident one of their Cessna Grand Caravan EX’s suffered shortly after take off from the Seronera airfield in the Serengeti.

The airline had through social media platforms and other means previously issued several brief statements about the accident and will continue to keep the public informed while cooperating in the unfolding air accident investigation.

Notably had the aircraft entered service only a year ago, 2018, and the pilot had 1.800 hours flying time on this aircraft type.

Auric only recently completed the safety renewal audit under the BARS Gold Standard certification programme of the Aviation Safety Foundation, as was also reported here at the time.
