Auric Air would like to inform you of a recent notification from the Government of Tanzania regarding the implementation of a Passenger Facilitation Fee, which will be introduced under the VI Tax Code for all international travel effective 1st November 2025.
This Passenger Facilitation Fee supports the implementation of the Advanced Passenger Information (API) and Passenger Name Record (PNR) systems, aimed at enhancing passenger processing and security at Tanzanian airports.
The fee will be USD 45.00 per passenger, per one-way international flight (whether scheduled or private charter) to or from Tanzania. Infants under 2 years are exempt from this fee.
All agents with ticketed bookings for travel from 1st November 2025 onwards will be contacted and will receive an updated tax invoice.
Un-ticketed bookings will be adjusted to reflect the new tax prior to ticketing.
Please note that this VI tax will be applicable to all flights operating from 1st November 2025 onwards, regardless of the date of booking.
