Introducing the AviaDev Africa 2026 Theme “Gateway to Opportunities“
Taking place in Gaborone, Botswana from 10–12 June, the forum brings together airlines, airports, tourism authorities, and a variety of service providers to drive route and fleet development across the Sub-Saharan African region.
The tagline and theme represent both the ambitions of our hosts, Botswana Air Access, and the event’s unique formula, which has proven itself to deliver tangible outcomes.
The event celebrates its tenth edition in 2026. It has never been about quantity, but the quality of interactions and a laser focus on delivering unique networking opportunities in both formal and informal settings.
2026 will see an exciting new addition. In response to feedback from our community, AviaDev Africa 2026 will host the inaugural AviaDev Finance & Leasing Forum.
This focused half-day forum will bring financiers, lessors, and airlines together to close the financing gap, unlock fleet growth, and stimulate investment in African aviation, supported by meetings between providers and operators.
