Making climate action available for everyone through frictionless and transparent carbon offsetting
Andreas Slettvoll is the CEO & Founder of Chooose, a Norwegian company that delivers solutions in making climate action available for everyone. Solutions include Renewable Energy, Blue Carbon, Community Projects, Trees and Natural Based Solutions and Carbon Removal. Wizz Air has partnered with Chooose so travelers can now offset their carbon footprint using Chooose. In the podcast, Andreas explains carbon offsetting is not the only solution for climate change – it´s just one of several tools that enables us to act now.

During the podcast, two words were deliberately used a lot – “frictionless” and “transparency” as Andreas believes they are crucially important in what Chooose does. Furthermore, Andreas is convinced that shaming is a terrible way for driving change so we definitely shouldn´t be ashamed of flying but take steps to offset our travel.

The Federal Aviation Administration has reinstated the Boeing 737 MAX’s operating certificate one year, eight months, and six days since it was rescinded on March 13th, 2019. The approval gives airlines the green light to prepare to return the type to service.
