AIRWORTHINESS CERTIFICATION COURSE SET FOR ENTEBBE

The AVIASSIST Foundation, in conjunction with CASSOA, the Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency of the East African Community, will be holding a rare airworthiness certification course in Uganda between 10th and 12th of March this year.
The information availed shows that only 20 places will be available and early registration is therefore recommended.
The course features all aspects of airworthiness from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards and leading regulators such as the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the US FAA. The rules are explained in general terms but the fundamental principles are also detailed which will allow greater benefit from the course. The course addresses the key aspects of design, construction, maintenance and operation of aircraft across a wide spectrum of technologies met in aerospace.

Main regulatory regimes
Verification and validation
Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs)
Organisational approvals
Just culture
Auditing techniques
Auditing techniques role plays
Occurrence reporting
Human factors
Continuous & continuing airworthiness

The course is delivered over 3 days and is mostly in the form of lectures. Group work is also used a number of exercises. All delegates will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course.
