FRENCH AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER ATR AND AVIASSIST JOIN HANDS TO PROMOTE AVIATION SAFETY

AVIAssist, already well known in Africa for their regular workshops and training sessions, many held in Kigali which has become an aviation training hub in its own right, has pooled their resources to partner with ATR to take the promotion of aviation safety in particular for turboprop operations to the next level.
AVIAssist also cooperates with ICAO, the International Civil Aviation Organization and, with the added support of key airlines and other partners like RandaAir, KLM, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment in Holland and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam are specially designed training seminars held to improve the skills of the airline industry staff dealing with engineering and safety standards.
Said Tom Kok, Director of AVIAssist when making the announcement:
“This partnership enables us to empower ever more safety champions throughout Africa to support the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM)”.
Tom made the announcement at the sidelines of the just ended Aviation Africa Conference which took place in Kigali / Rwanda.
