GREAT DEALS AWAIT WHEN THE BAOBAB REOPENS ITS DOORS ON THE 01ST OF AUGUST
(Posted 11th July 2020)
As hotels, resorts, safari lodges and safari camps begin to reopen across East Africa, are all of these businesses faced with the challenges the ‘New Normal‘ in the age of #COVID19 poses for them.
All have to meet a wide range of additional health and safety measures demanded by the health authorities in the countries where they operate, in order to be certified for reopening.
Some will, as usual, just tick those boxes, perhaps even reluctantly as making money will be first and foremost on the minds of Jua Kali owner managers while others with greater business ethics and real sustainable policies on their books will seek to do even better and tick added boxes to give their clientele the confidence needed to consider travelling again.
The Baobab resorts at Diani – which include the Baobab Beach Resort and Spa, Kole Kole and Maridadi, are among the latter group. The resort just published a detailed catalogue of measures they are taking and are sharing with their future guests, to give them peace of mind and the assurance, that travel – when it can kickstart again – is NOT the kind of risky business some make it out to be.
ATCNews did obtain the details of Baobab’s health measures and will share the images with readers:
General Manager Silvester Maundu Mbandi and his entire team will be ready and prepared to welcome guests back as of 01st of August, promising them a holiday of a lifetime in a safe and healthy environment which meets all the requirements of the Kenyan government’s health authorities.
It is a warm Karibu Sana from the Baobab, from Diani and from Kenya!
