ETHIOPIAN STREAMLINES FRANKFURT CONNECTIVITY

Star Alliance member Ethiopian Airlines, flying in codeshare with partner Lufthansa between Frankfurt and Addis Ababa, has announced changes in their departure and arrival times, aimed to make for better connectivity and offer fellow Star Alliance members immediate onward flights from Frankfurt.
The flight is operated by Ethiopian’s latest fleet addition, a B787-8 Dreamliner, and opens the airline’s extensive Africa network to alliance partners ‘meeting’ in Frankfurt like never before.
Effective 08th of September will the daily flight leave Addis at a minute to midnight with an arrival time in Frankfurt at 06.20 hrs, due to be adjusted to 01.00 hrs at the end of summer time in Europe come October 26th.
From Addis Ababa Ethiopian offers flights into the Eastern African region, with Nairobi notably moving from two to four daily flights, but also flying to Entebbe, Kigali, Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam and Mombasa, using a mix of aircraft ranging from the Bombardier Q400 over the B737-800NG to the Dreamliner.
Ethiopian Airlines, seen as Africa’s leading airline in terms of fleet and destinations, just attained the Skytrax fourth position in Africa, behind South African and Air Mauritius but notably ahead of closest rival Kenya Airways.
