GLOBAL OPPOSITION, THREATS TO LOSE ORDERS AND FALLING SHARE PRICES PROMPT BOEING TO WITHDRAW OPPOSITION TO GROUNDING

US President Trump confirmed earlier this evening that the US would issue an emergency order to ground all Boeing B737MAX8 and Boeing B737MAX9 aircraft, after Boeing dropped their opposition to the measure and the company itself recommended a global grounding.
Both the FAA – which in total isolation from the rest of the world claimed the aircraft was airworthy and they had no facts supporting a grounding rather than exercising extreme caution as is required in aviation – and Boeing felt an icey breeze coming their way as a result of their indecision.
Some airlines with large orders for these aircraft types were rumoured to be considering their positions should Boeing not participate in a grounding of these aircraft and present workable solutions to the alleged problems the aircraft has, including of course the fact of two crashes within five months and numerous reports from pilots facing difficulties to control the plane in flight.
This turnaround by Boeing and the FAA now vindicates the instant decision by Ethiopia to suspend operations of the B737MAX, followed by a wave of groundings started by China and then spreading around the world, including Canada earlier today.
What is now needed are the data of the two black boxes to throw light on the actual flight of the stricken ET302 and perhaps explain to the aircraft accident investigators what exactly went wrong just minutes after take off.
