EMERGENCY SERVICES RUSH TO SCENE OF HELICOPTER CRASH IN EASTERN HARARE

Eastern Harare, Pfenyere Place to be precise, was this afternoon the scene of a tragic accident, when a helicopter crashed into the populated neighbourhood.
The helicopter reportedly belonged to the Zimbabwe Air Force but no comment has been forthcoming from them over the past two hours.
Near the crash site is a primary school located which the stricken helicopter luckily missed, however hitting at least one occupied house and people are feared dead on the ground too, besides the occupants of the helicopter.
Upon impact did the helicopter burst into flames, making any rescue efforts impossible.
The burnt property is according to a reliable source from Zimbabwe located along Gardner Road in Ruwa, eastern Harare and occupants were according to eyewitness accounts inside the house when the helicopter crashed on it.
