BRITAIN UNDER FIRE FOR CREATING OBSTRUCTIONS TO RWANDAIR’S TRIANGULAR EUROPE FLIGHTS

Britain spoiled the inaugural flight celebrations for RwandAir, which was launching commercial operations earlier today with the addition of their second European destination, Brussels.
It is understood from sources in the Belgian capital and from Brussels Airport that British authorities now demand a paid for transit Visa for non EU passengers intent to board the flight in Brussels and destined for Kigali, even though they would remain on board the aircraft for the 1 1/2 hour stop at London Gatwick.
The move by the British government is bound to sour relations between Rwanda and the UK as the East African country is not known to take such insults lightly and rightly so.
Subsequently were no passengers boarded in Brussels an hour ago when the inaugural flight landed at Zaventem and the airport authorities reportedly postponed the planned big welcome party until the issue has been resolved on the diplomatic front and in particular African passengers can board in Brussels enroute to Kigali and beyond.
Said a source in Kigali on condition of anonymity: ‘If this is what their BREXIT is all about, good night Britain. Very uncivilised!‘.
