BRUSSELS AIRLINES LAUNCHES ‘HAPPY TIMES‘
(Posted 29th December 2018)
Under the slogan ‘Happy Times’, Brussels Airlines wants to encourage Belgians – and passengers of other nationalities – to spend more time together. In cooperation with research bureau iVOX, the airline investigated how important in particular Belgians think it is to spend time together and how they prefer to do that. The research pointed out that 75% of the Belgians consider time with their family an important factor in being happy. 8 out of 10 people in a relationship say that travelling can make them fall in love again. For 3 out of 10 Belgians more ‘quality time’ is a New Year’s resolution for 2019.
Less than an hour quality time each day
The results of the survey conducted by Brussels Airlines and iVox show that family time is an important factor for people’s happiness. For 4 out of 10 (41%) it’s even the most important one. However, more than half of the interviewees (53%) say they have too little time for their family. 3 out of 10 Belgians under 55 indicate that they spend a maximum of one hour a day together. Almost 3 out of 10 Belgians (29%) make spending more time with their family and relatives a New Year’s resolution for 2019.
More quality time when travelling
90% of families with children say that travelling is the ideal way to spend more time together. Turns out that travelling can also lend love a hand, as 8 out of 10 people in a relationship say that a vacation or trip can make them fall in love again. Brussels Airlines wants to help Belgians in realising their good intentions and therefore launches ‘Happy Times’, with flights from 34 euros to more than 100 destinations in order to spend a fantastic time with a partner, family or friends.
