BRUSSELS AIRLINES CONTINUES FLEXIBILITY MEASURES FOR TICKET REBOOKINGS

All Brussels Airlines tickets remain flexible until the end of February
Rebooking fee remains suspended for Brussels Airlines and all Lufthansa Group network airlines
Since the end of August, all tickets of Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airlines can be rebooked free of charge as often as needed, including the cheapest light fare without checked baggage. Originally, this offer was valid for (re-)bookings until the end of the year, but now the offer is extended for all Lufthansa Group network airlines.
This means that all Brussels Airlines tickets booked up to February 28th next year, can be rebooked free of charge as often as desired, if the rebooking is also made by that date.
After this date, one last rebooking is possible free of charge.
Due to the pandemic, Brussels Airlines had already made a one-off free rebooking possible in spring this year. The scrapping of the rebooking fee applies worldwide to all new bookings on short, medium and long-haul routes.
This means that the airline can offer their customers even greater flexibility in their travel arrangements. However, customers may incur additional costs if, for example, the original booking class is no longer available when rebooking to a different date or destination. A possible difference will need to be compensated with an additional payment.
In view of the global coronavirus pandemic, Brussels Airlines has committed itself to the strictest health and safety measures in aviation worldwide, following the recommendations of EASA (European Air Safety Agency). Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the Belgian airline operates an adapted flight schedule that is based on market demand and that takes into account the travel restrictions of the different aviation authorities.
Brussels Airlines, once again serving Entebbe in Uganda in conjunction with Kigali in Rwanda twice a week, is also set to increase their flights to three to cover the additional travel demand ahead of the festive season and into January next year.
