BRUSSELS AIRLINES GIVES CATHAY PACIFIC PASSENGERS 7 ADDED CODESHARE DESTINATIONS IN EUROPE
(Posted 14th July 2018)
Cathay Pacific has, following the signing of a major codeshare deal with Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian last year, now also signed a similar agreement with Brussels Airlines.
The new deal will allow passengers from the four weekly Cathay Pacific flights between Hong Kong and Brussels to reach seven onward destinations in Europe.
Those are Hamburg and Berlin in Germany, Lyon, Toulouse and Marseille in France and also Oslo in Norway and Prague in the Czech Republic.
No ‘reverse‘ codeshare from Brussels to Hong Kong between the two airlines is however in place which would extend Brussels Airlines reach.
Brussels Airlines is a member of the StarAlliance while Cathay Pacific is a member of OneWorld.
