#BrusselsAirport is ready when scheduled air transport resumes

Brussels Airport selected as pilot airport by EASA
You’ve probably already noticed it. The last few days we are hearing positive messages about the aviation industry in the media. Our airport is getting ready to welcome you again!

EASA, the European Aviation Safety Agency, has drawn up guidelines that will help with the restart of aviation. Our airport will be one of the pilot airports that will closely follow these guidelines. By doing so, we will not only ensure that you can travel carefree and safely, but we also contribute to the development of practical solutions for the restart of passenger traffic in general.

Our health measures will be in line with EASA’s recommendations. 200 hand dispensers spread throughout the airport will ensure good hand hygiene of the passengers and hundreds of floor stickers and posters will remind you of the obligatory 1.5 meter distance from other passengers. Plexi glass at every desk. In addition, it is still mandatory to wear a face mask at the airport. From 15 June we also foresee temperature checks using thermal cameras. Meeters & greeters are not allowed in the building.

In short, we are ready to welcome you again this summer in a safe way!
