The world is yours when you depart from Brussels Airport. Currently, you can fly to 212 destinations across the globe directly through our airport. This summer’s newcomers are Newcastle and East Midlands through Loganair, Pisa and Gerona thanks to Ryanair and Tallinn with Airbaltic. If that wasn’t enough, you can fly to Porto with TAP Air Portugal starting 1st June and to Budapest with LOT Polish Airlines starting 1st September.

Smurf along with us
Especially for families with young kids, Brussels Airport reopens the Family Lane at the person and carry-on baggage screening. Until 31st August, the Smurfs will welcome our youngest passengers!

These Belgian comic icons will make sure that your departure is as pleasant as possible. Who knows… you might even run into Smurfette!

More fun for the little ones
EU passports enjoy automatic border control

Are you flying to a destination outside of the Schengen Area? Then you’ll have to go through our border control post before you’re allowed to go to your gate. If you’re travelling with a valid EU passport, you’ll pass this post in no time thanks to our fully automatic border control. So don’t forget your EU passport if you have one!

Please note that if you are travelling with a passport of a country that doesn’t belong to the EU or your Belgium ID card, or you’re less than 12 years old you’ll have to go through our regular, manual control.

You can find an enormous cultural offering in every Belgian city; from paintings by Rubens, Ensor or Van Eyck in the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, to the house of the world-famous art nouveau pioneer Victor Horta in Brussels. If you prefer some fresh air with your art, you can always stroll through the picturesque, medieval streets of Bruges. Afterwards, you can reminisce about your visit over a nice meal with a glass of wine or a beer!
