#BrusselsAirport News Updates

Plan your journey and take off carefree
The European borders are open again and Brussels Airport is ready to welcome you. However, the current situation has slightly altered your journey through our airport this summer. We created a video showing you what to expect at the airport. Below are a few of the changes:

  • We will measure your temperature both on departure and arrival. This happens very quickly and from a safe distance.
  • Only passengers have access to the airport terminal, so say goodbye at home or outside.
  • Have you booked a taxi? Then your driver will be waiting for you outside.

Do you still have questions? Our Customer Care team is happy to help you. Contact them 24/7 via WhatsApp (+32 2 753 77 53) and our other social media channels. #safetravel

Easy travel to Brussels Airport thanks to the ring trambus
Ring Tramway bus
Thanks to the brand new ‘ring trambus’ you can now travel quickly and comfortably from UZ Brussel (Jette) to Brussels Airport. The trambus is a comfortable and fast alternative to the car and will contribute to a smoother mobility north of Brussels.

During the start-up phase, the quiet summer months, the trambuses run every 30 minutes from the UZ Brussel, via the station of Vilvorde to Brussels Airport and back. From 1 September 2020, this will be every 15 minutes.

bTag
Travelling in corona times is slightly different than how it was before. Not only do you have to wear a face mask, you’re also obligated to keep a 1.5 meter distance from your fellow travelers.

bTag, the smart baggage label, knows when your bags will appear on the belt. All you have to do is relax and wait from a safe distance.
