Bye bye KiliFair2017 as dates are set for KiliFair2018

RECORD TURNOUT AT KILIFAIR2017 AS ORGANIZERS SET DATES FOR NEXT YEAR ALREADY

(Posted 05th June 2017)

KiliFair 2017 yesterday closed its doors after the most successful event yet in its three year history.
Exhibitors from countries of the Eastern African region and beyond, more than 300 according to the organizers, met with over 250 registered buyers who came to the town of Moshi over the past few days. Many of those sampled the attractions of both the Tanzanian mainland, of Zanzibar and other islands before heading to the show grounds which this year were filled to capacity.
Buoyed by their success have the organizers set the dates for the 2018 event already, which will be 01st to 03rd of June – enough lead time to plan for attendance either as an exhibitor, a buyer or just an attendee of the parallel tourism forum where industry leaders discussed relevant topics affecting their industry.

While the stats for 2017 are still being compiled will the above graph make interesting viewing, showing the participation of last year broken down by exhibitors from the various participating countries. Once available will the 2017 statistics also be posted here. It affirms the trend that KiliFair has become not only a selling show for the Tanzanian tourism industry but has began to draw in exhibitors from other countries too showcasing their own attractions and selling combination vacations, with travelers having the option of visiting more than one country during a trip.

Ugandan exhibitors and participants in particular will be finding attending KiliFair next year also easier as Precision Air will by then once again connect Entebbe with Kilimanjaro International Airport, from where it is but a short distance to the town of Moshi where the fair is being held.
