Cabo Verde Airlines offers 7 day Visa free layover

INNOVATIVE OFFERS BY CABO VERDE AIRLINES SURE TO ATTRACT MORE PASSENGERS

(Posted 21st November 2019)

Cabo Verde Airlines will launch additional flights on the 08th and 09th of December, connecting their hub Sal with both Washington DC and Lagos.
The added flights to the US – Boston has been part of the airline’s network for some time now – will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and offer convenient connections to Nigerians, linking to the airline’s new Lagos flights which during the launch phase will operate four times a week.
Connecting passengers who travel via Sal on to the airline’s Brazilian destinations or to the US, and of course vice versa on to Lisbon, Paris, Milan and Rome, can now opt to stay over in Cabo Verde for up to 7 days, Visa free and most notably without an increase in the fares advertised in the marketplace. All passengers have to do is, at the time of booking, to express their wish for a stop over and give the number of days they wish to say and then get ticketed accordingly.

Cabo Verde has more recently been described as one of Africa’s up and coming destinations, offering wide sandy beaches, clean air, sparkling clear ocean waters and a range of hotels and resorts for every budget.

Cabo Verde is an archipelago off the West African coast, closest to Senegal, comprising some 10 islands and several islets, broadly divided into two groups:

Tourism has become one of the key economic sectors for the island nation which last year welcomed around 765.000 visitors to their shores with most of them staying at resorts and hotels on Sal, Boa Vista and Maio which include internationally branded properties like Hilton and Melia Hotels.

Eco tourism complements beach vacations and popular among tourists are visits to the Pigo do Fogo volcano on the island of Fogo, which stands 2.829 metres high, making it the highest peak in Western Africa. The last eruption was recorded between November 2014 and February 2015 with no notable seismic activity since then, making hikes with guides to the area generally safe.

Cabo Verde Airlines is using the ongoing #NigeriaTravelWeek2019 as their launch platform for the Nigerian market and their planned activities will increase over the coming days until the launch of the first flight from Lagos to Sal on the 09th of December.
