#CoastalAviation News Updates

Dear Partners,

?As the high season kicks off, we would like to remind you about our Ruaha flight. We have flights from Ruaha to Kilimanjaro, via Iringa. We hope this is a useful product to offer customers, connecting the South to the international gateway at Kilimanjaro, whilst also assisting with itineraries to optimise park fees, noting that Iringa is outside of that catchment.

We have also taken the feedback from many of our customers and are thus reinstating the Serengeti – Nairobi route (via Musoma for customs/immigration clearance). We do need your support on this route, and hope that the convenience of flying out of the Serengeti on a more direct route will be appreciated by those travelling on into Kenya and beyond.

To add onto that, we have additional capacity through subcontracted Embraer 120 for high season (Mid – July to end of first week of September) on the following routes; Zanzibar – Arusha – Seronera – Zanzibar
It is a 30 seat flight with toilet facilities departing Serengeti at 10:45, arrive Zanzibar 12:15

For more information on the routes & subcontracted Embraer, please contact our reservations team at reservations

Visitors to Tanzania are advised to avoid carrying plastic carrier bags or packing plastic carrier bags or items in plastic carrier bags in the suitcase or hand luggage before embarking on a visit to Tanzania. Special desk will be designated at all entry points for surrender of plastic carrier bags that visitors may be bringing into Tanzania.
Plastic carrier items known as Ziploc bags (ie those used for airport screening purposes) that are specifically used to carry toiletries will be permitted as they are expected to remain in the permanent possession of visitors and are not expected to be disposed in the country
The government does not intent for visitors to Tanzania to find their stay unpleasant as the ban is enforced; however the government expects that in appreciation of the imperative to protect the environment and keep the country clean and beautiful, visitors will accept minor inconveniences resulting from the plastic bags’ ban.
