NEW SIMBA LOUNGE IN TERMINAL 1A GETTING READY FOR KENYA AIRWAYS PASSENGERS

Terminal 1A of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is moving towards full functionality with national airline Kenya Airways processing a number of flights on a daily basis from the new facility. In particular premium passengers, already given fast track access into the terminal through a separate single security check point, will be looking forward to the day when the airline is moving lock stock and barrel into the new terminal and the all new Simba Lounge will provide them with an oasis of peace while waiting for their flight to be called.
A sneak preview picture was obtained yesterday, showing a glimpse into the new lounge which will offer state of the art facilities for business class passengers and holders of top tier frequent flyer cards.
From information at hand now it is clear that the airline spared no expense in outfitting the new lounge and providing their passengers with an experience on the ground which they can then continue in the air as they fly out of Nairobi on the new Dreamliner or the new B777-300ER, which with 400 seats is the largest on the KQ fleet at the moment. Watch this space for the upcoming formal launch of the new Simba Lounge and a full pictorial of the new look awaiting passengers of KQ and the SkyTeam partner airlines.
