Both Embraer and Congo Airways have confirmed that a firm order for two Embraer E175 have been signed, with options for a further two such aircraft.
Congo Airways is planning to replace their De Havilland DHC8-400’s with the new jet aircraft while at the same time continuing to operate two Airbus A320’s.
The Embraer jets will be delivered in a two class configuration of 76 seats overall, 12 of which will be in Business Class and 64 in Economy Class.
No details were available at the time of uploading the article when the two deliveries will take place and when the two Q400’s will then be phased out.
