Karl Hala, Group General Manager of Continental Hotels in Nigeria – both in Lagos and in Abuja – has been handeed the prestigious title of Nigerian Hospitality Legend by Nigerian tourism legend Ikechi Uko, which he was named for at the Travellers Award ceremony last year.
The handing over of the plaque took place coinciding with the visit to the Continental Hotel in Lagos of US Secretary of State Blinken and not long after the German Chancellor also stayed at the Continental Hotel in Lagos during his recent Africa tour.
Said Karl to ATCNews as he shared the picture: ‘This recognition is a testament to the exceptional achievements and contributions made in the Nigerian hospitality industry, which would not have been possible without the support and dedication of our teams in Lagos and in Abuja. Thank you all for your constant encouragement and trust.’
