NEXT EMIRATES’ AIRBUS A380 DESTINATION IS COPENHAGEN
(Posted 10th April 2015)
A regular source at the Emirates’ office in Kampala has confirmed that the airline will add Copenhagen from the 01st of December to their growing list of A380 destinations, adding yet more appeal for travelers to fly on Dubai’s award winning national airline.
The announcement to upgrade capacity to the Danish capital comes four years after Emirates launched flights to Copenhagen, a clear sign how the market has embraced the airline’s services and connections to the rest of the world.
Emirates is already the world’s largest Airbus A380 operators and has more such aircraft on order, planning to use the aircraft on high demand routes in particular into airports where slot availability might in the future make it difficult to add more frequencies and where the use of larger aircraft is the only viable way to increase capacity.
From Eastern Africa does Emirates connect Entebbe with daily flights, Nairobi with two flights a day and Dar es Salaam with two flights a day, giving plenty of opportunity to travel via Dubai to the world.
The source also denied that the daily flights by flydubai had eaten into the market share of Emirates but said it has actually stimulated demand for travel to Dubai and that passengers keen on experiencing excellent service on board across the various classes would always choose Emirates’s wide body aircraft comfort over airlines operating single aisle planes.
