Air Mauritius has confirmed that today, 25th of March, no flights to or from Rodrigues will take place due to the weather conditions associated with Cyclone Joaninha.

Flights were already halted yesterday, Sunday due to the high windspeeds as the island is in the direct path of the storm.
At this time it is not known when air traffic can resume and passengers booked to or from Rodrigues are advised to check with Air Mauritius or local authorities for updates on the situation.
As in the past is the airline expected to add extra flights to clear the backlog as expeditiously as possible once the Plaine Corail Airport on Rodrigues has been reopened.
