Dr. Alain St.Ange & Minister Yerzhan Yerkinbayev, the Kazakhstan Junior Minister of Tourism & Sports meet in Almaty
Minister Yerzhan Yerkinbayev, the Junior Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan travelled to Almaty from Astana, the Capital City of Kazakhstan and made time to meet the Official Trainers who were invited by ‘Visit Almaty’, the Almaty Tourism Department of Kazakhstan to speak at training sessions, an event totally dedicated to the Tourism Industry in Kazakhstan, organised for tourism related or industry support managers working in different fields of government i.e. tourist police, rescue, destination management, museums, customs and border guards.
At the meeting at the RIXOS Hotel of Almaty in the presence of Mrs Makpal Abdikadyr of Almaty Tourism) and Mrs Zhanar Gabit from the Conference Organisers Group, Dr. Alain St.Ange, Head of Saint Ange Tourism Consultancy and the former Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine of the Seychelles thanked Minister Yerzhan Yerkinbayev for his Ministry’s invitation to be a lead trainer for the 2024 Official Training event that had the ultimate aim of ensuring that tourism as an industry was understood and appreciated by everyone.
“I consider it an honour to have been invited as a lead trainer and I am also happy to have had this opportunity of discovering your great country” Dr. St.Ange said to the Kazakhstan Minister who had opened the meeting by thanking the Seychelles former Minister for having accepted the invitation to be part of the ‘Visit Almaty’, the Almaty Tourism Department of Kazakhstan Training 2024 event.
In the presence of the Almaty Tourism, Dr. Alain St.Ange took time to speak of the key USPs he had discovered in Almaty of Kazakhstan and said that the uniqueness of Almaty needed to be spelled out to the Community of Nations. “You have downhill ski slopes but 30 minutes from Almaty City Centre, you have Grand Canyons, incredible rivers offering white water rafting, great food, culture and people who are incredible as the gem from Central Asia. You have it all and are practicing a tourism approach of sustainable tourism and ecotourism which sees the Kazakhstan Government with the desire of being seen as good custodians of what the country has been blessed with. Minister you do not only say it but you are delivering for the people and for your country such leadership” Dr. Alain St.Ange of Saint Ange Tourism Consultancy.
Government Officials who attended the Official Training sessions led by Alain St.Ange received a personal certificate duly signed by St.Ange after the three days session was completed.
