World Travel Awards Grand Final 2023

World Travel Awards will host its Grand Final 2023 – the climax of its 30th anniversary of rewarding travel excellence – at Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab.

The landmark celebrations, featuring the winners of WTA’s World categories – the highest honours in travel and tourism – will take place on Friday 1 December 2023, with the who’s who of the global industry in attendance.

The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is an icon of Arabian luxury, renowned for its ‘seven-star status’ and putting Dubai on the map as a luxury hospitality hub. Built on its own island, the sail-shaped building rises 321m, providing guests with an amazing hotel room view of the Arabian Gulf.

World Travel Awards Middle East 2023 winners

WTA’s 30th anniversary Grand Tour headed to Dubai for a blockbuster gala ceremony at Atlantis The Royal. Tourism royalty from across the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Ocean convened at Dubai’s hottest new resort to celebrate the winners of World Travel Awards 2023.

Big winners at the VIP reception included Dubai crowned ‘Middle East’s Leading Destination’ and ‘Middle East’s Leading Tourist Board’. Doha topped off a memorable evening by collecting ‘Middle East’s Leading City Destination’. Maldives was voted ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Destination’ and ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Tourist Board’. Kenya was named ‘Africa’s Leading Destination’.
