The Seychelles Tourism Board’s, UK and Ireland offices and members of the islands travel trade launched another marketing forage into the Irish market last week, with a series of Train and Dine events – in Cork, Limerick and Belfast.

A group of 29 workers of the Seychelles Hilton Hotels have graduated after successfully completing two courses – management development level one and passport to success training.The certificate presentation ceremony was held at the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort and Spa recently.

The Constance Ephelia Chef Academy has officially been launched at the resort recently by the Patron of the Seychelles Tourism Academy Claude Narai.

The Seychelles Tourism Board headed by the director for Europe Bernadette Willemin together with Monette Rose the account manager for Italy, marketing staff Amia Jovanovic Desir and Yasmine Pocetti and its partners were in Rimini to support Seychelles tourism industry at the TTG Travel and Tourism show.

The month-long activities came to a close over the weekend during the famous Bal Bobes, held at the International Creole Institute.The most striking moment of this festival was during the opening ceremony, when young and old truly showed off their pride for their Creole identity.

Seychelles has once again won a top award, another feat for its tourism industry. Our islands won the Country Destination of the Year by Luxury Travel Guide.

Seychelles was amongst the island states that won the 2015 Chinese Citizens favourite island destination at the International Island Tourism Conference that was held in the island city of Zhoushan in the province of Zhejiang China.

The ideally located ‘La Plage’ restaurant located right on the beach at Beau Vallon has reopened its doors to members of the public, now that renovation on the building has been completed.

Miss Seychelles…another world 2015 Linne Freminot was on a two-week mission in China recently where she took part in a series of charitable activities.

The Seychelles Ocean Festival which was set to be held from December 4-11 has been postponed.
