A Piper 34-200T Seneca 2, coming from Uganda’s main airport of Entebbe, suffered a non fatal runway excursion upon landing at the North Western town of Arua. All five on board are said to be unhurt from the incident.
The aircraft, registered as 5X-CIV belongs to Eagle Air, a privately owned Ugandan airline company formed in 1994, which carries out both scheduled and charter flights with its main base at Entebbe International Airport.

A similar incident occurred on the 01st of April 2017 in the Southern Sudanese town of Yei when another Eagle Air flight burst a tyre upon landing and the plane veered off the runway, again with no reported injuries to passengers and crew.
