This was a very fast stage. We are trying to stay close to Stig because he is going with the right speed. But he is getting faster now as he is getting nearer the finish. So we are doing all we can and trying to stay close without damaging the car.

Nice roads today and much nicer now.
ONKAR RAI-DREW STURROCK – PORSCHE 911
We just wanted to get through clean today and that’s what we did. Waiting to see the times we got then we see what happens tomorrow. We are having fun.
BALDEV CHAGER-RAVI SONI – PORSCHE 911
Today was quite quick on the sections at some point I think we reached 200Kph. Overall we enjoyed it though but I would not like to be in front with this kind of speeds. We have had a good consistent day, I have nothing to prove and am just running in the rally just to support my team mates
OSIAN PRYCE-DALE FURNISS – FORD ESCORT
A bit more like today. To be fair, the information was bang on. Really enjoyable stages I must say however I expect to lose some more time to the Porches because today it was fast but we had a ball. We knocked some few ruts but the car is good. It was a good day.
PHILIP KADOORIE-RYAN CHAMPION – PORSCHE 911
We were definitely moving fast and we knew Onkar would be fast 3rd stage but we enjoyed it. So far so good Tanzania was good to us and now waiting to see what happens in the next two days in Kenya. (Ryan – Navigator) We are working well as team, it’s been a case of learning for Philip because it’s his fast time here and I have the experience and we are getting there

This was a lovely stage especially through the trees and we are glad to have finished with Tanzania. Happy for Onkar, he is really driving very well
ROGER SAMUELSSON-ROBIN FRIBERG – PORSCHE 911
This was a very nice section today end the day and I loved it. It’s been a smooth drive. In regards to the pace, I want to keep the speed and just cross the finish line. Am fifth now and am happy with that.

It’s a beautiful day fast sections. I think some sections were graded making them faster and quick. Happy with the notes and everything. Two more days to and we will enjoy it, that’s the main thing. |
