AMBOSELI AND KILAGUNI SERENA LODGES ATTAIN GOLD STATUS BY ECOTOURISM KENYA

The Nairobi Serena Hotel’s new ball room has been chosen as the venue for this year’s EcoTourism Kenya EcoWarrior Award gala dinner.
While sadly no longer part of the annual Magical Kenya Travel Expo – where the presence of hundreds of hosted buyers and international travel media gave added momentum and visibility to the event – will this year’s ceremony no doubt be a sellout regardless, to welcome and celebrate the latest generation of EcoWarriors, i.e. companies and individuals excelling in implementing and furthering the green agenda.
Wrote EcoTourism Kenya to ATCNews: ‘Ecotourism Kenya hosts an Eco Warrior Award Gala Dinner where we recognize and celebrate business entities and individuals who are at the frontline in promoting sustainable tourism in their operations as well as in their interaction with the local community.

The event being held at the Nairobi Serena will no doubt also be used by Serena Hotels to celebrate the elevation of both Amboseli Serena Lodge and Kilaguni Serena Lodge to EcoTourism Kenya’s Gold Standard, a major accomplishment and testimony to the hotel group’s commitment to not just go green but go greener still when new technologies become available.
