EcoWarrior shortlist out for Friday Gala Award Night

WHO WILL KENYA’S ECO WARRIORS 2016 BE?

Ecotourism Kenya has earlier this evening announced the shortlist for the 10th edition of the Eco Warrior Awards. The scheme recognizes innovations and leadership in responsible tourism.

The finalists consist of tourism initiatives from within Kenya that enhance social-cultural, economic and ecological sustainability in their operations. Winners in each category will be announced on Friday 14th October 2016 in a Gala Dinner hosted at Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi.

The Gala Dinner will be graced by Hon. CS Prof. Judi Wakhungu, Ministry of Environment, Water & Natural Resources, Hon. Anna Othoro, CEC Member in Charge of Trade, Cooperative Development, Tourism & Wildlife – Nairobi County, and KTB Chairman Jimi Kariuki among other invited guests, dignitaries, international hosted buyers and the tourism/conservation fraternity.

The shortlist was received just a short while ago and readers can now keep their fingers crossed for their favourites with the winners of course only known on Friday night:
