Sherin Francis, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, and Orhan Abbas, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations for Africa, signed a further extension of their cooperation agreement, which has been in place for almost a decade now.
Said Mrs. Francis: ‘The continuous support of all our partners enables us to increase our reach to all our regular and potential clients. Our long-lasting collaboration with Emirates has made Seychelles accessible throughout the world via their extensive network, and its impact has been significant to us as a destination‘ while Orhan Abbas responded in kind when he added: ‘We have enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership with Seychelles and have taken an active role in boosting the tourism industry of the island nation. Our commitment to the destination and the partnership forged with the government authorities have seen great success‘.
Emirates flies twice a day with a Boeing B777 to Mahe, providing a reliable backbone of air connectivity to the Seychelles islands as it connects their 150+ destinations world wide with but one stop to the paradise islands.
Present at the ceremony was the Seychelles Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine Mr. Didier Dogley.
