Emirates increases frequencies to Dar es Salaam

EMIRATES ADDS 5 MORE WEEKLY FLIGHTS TO DAR ES SALAAM

(Posted 12th September 2014)

Effective 26th of October will Emirates add a further five flights a week between Dubai and Dar es Salaam, the airline announced yesterday. The present daily B777 service will be supplemented with added flights on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, using an Airbus A330-200 with 237 seats in a three class configuration.

These added flights will depart from Dubai at 16.55 hrs local time and arrive in Tanzania’s commercial capital at 21.50 hrs before returning to Dubai for a landing time at 06.20 hrs the next morning, offering plenty of connections across the global Emirates network.

The Tanzanian tourism fraternity has already welcomed the additional flights as the extra seats will allow to bring in more tourists from abroad while exporters of fresh produce will have more cargo uplift capacity to sell to the huge consumer markets in the Gulf and as far as Europe.

Nairobi is presently on double daily flights by Emirates while Entebbe has a daily flight from and to Dubai. For more details on flight schedules, destinations, special offers and more click on www.emirates.com
