Emirates launching new First Class cabin layout

NEW FIRST CLASS BUT ALSO ENHANCED BUSINESS CLASS AND ECONOMY CLASS FEATURES BY EMIRATES

Emirates, which flies daily between Dubai and Entebbe but also serves Nairobi twice a day – the third flight EK717 has not materialised earlier this morning and may have been put on hold – and Dar es Salaam, has just announced the complete overhaul of their First Class cabin.
The new layout with individual suites will first appear on a Boeing B777-300ER and be publicly revealed during the Dubai Airshow this coming November.
Changes will then also come the way of Business Class travelers and those travelling in Economy Class where further enhancements in seat comfort have been promised.
It is clear that Emirates is now responding to competitive pressure after the launch of the Etihad apartment in the sky, a three room First Class Suite on their Airbus A380 fleet and the launch earlier this year by Qatar Airways of their revolutionary new Business Class layout which in their words of their CEO Mr. Akbar Al Baker makes First Class redundant.
It is understood that after the launch will the fleet of Boeing B777’s – the largest operated by any airline – be progressively retrofitted when they undergo heavy maintenance.
