Following a full scale security exercise earlier today at Entebbe International Airport has the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority issued a statement, as shown below.
The exercise was communicated via a NOTAM, aka Notice to Airmen, to alert all incoming flights into Entebbe of the exercise on the ground, which took place between 2 pm (1400 hrs) and 4 pm (1600 hrs) local time.
The last such exercise, which is a mandatory requirement by ICAO, the International Civil Aviation Organization, took place four years ago.
