Entries open for World Travel Awards 2025

WTA has announced the call for entries for the 32nd annual World Travel Awards, inviting the best travel industry organisations from each country to submit their applications and compete for the ultimate industry accolade.

The organisation will in 2025 celebrate their 32nd anniversary, awarding the best there is with what is generally described as the ‘Travel Oscars‘.

** the late entry deadline allows submissions after the entry closing date which is the recommended deadline to allow entries to be processed and payment to be made before voting opens. There is no additional fee for late entries.

Automatic Qualification

The Winner and two runners-up from the previous year will requalify for the same award and do not need to submit an entry. To check which nominees automatically qualify, visit the Nominees pages where the Winner and two runners-up will be published during the entry period. Automatic qualification does not include the Digital Nominee Pack. Winners and runners-ups wishing to purchase the Digital Nominee Pack should contact their World Travel Awards contact or email us at awards@worldtravelawards.com.

Entry Process

1. Submit your entry form online.
2. Your entry will be checked and vetted to ensure your nomination qualifies for the selected award/s.
3. Successful applicants will be notified and sent an invoice for the entry fee.
4. No fee will be taken from unsuccessful applications.
5. Upon payment, your nomination will be entered into the nominations for the new year and you will be sent the Digital Nominee Pack which includes the nominee shield, vote for us button and web banners and a dedicated voting web page to market your nomination. At this point, nominations are under embargo.
6. Nominees will be published when voting opens and Nominees may announce their nomination/s and begin any marketing campaigns.

Rules for Entry

1. All entrants must be a travel and tourism product that serves the public or the industry.
2. Your business is eligible to enter if it has been established and trading in its recent form for at least 12 months at the time of applying.
3. Any entrants for New Hotel or New Resort awards will be eligible to enter if, at the time of applying, they opened within the past 18 months and were not included in the previous year’s nominations.
4. Previous year’s winners and two runners up are automatically qualified in the following year’s nomination for the same award. Exceptions apply for new hotels or resorts, new products or services and marketing campaign awards.
5. If your entry relates to a specific project, it must have been completed and fully implemented at the time of applying.
6. Any internet or technology products must have been operational for at least 6 months at the time of applying.
7. World Travel Awards retains the right to disqualify entries.
8. All Entry Forms must be completed in ENGLISH.
9. Entries must reach World Travel Awards by the published closing dates.
10. Only complete entries will be considered.
11. Entries must be submitted online.
12. No refunds of the application fees will be made.
