AIRPORT CLOSURE FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK PROMPTS ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES TO SHIFT ENUGU FLIGHTS TO PORT HARCOURT
(Posted 01st September 2019)
The closure of Enugu Airport, effective this coming Tuesday 03rd of September – and lasting until at least the 23rd of November – has prompted Ethiopian Airlines to shift their flights to the city of Port Harcourt to maintain connectivity. It is understood that the airport will undergo urgent construction works, renovations and some upgradings.
The airline will use a Boeing B737-800NG for the service which will operated three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
When the reopening of Enugu Airport has been confirmed will Ethiopian Airlines give notice to their customers about the date when flights between Addis Ababa and Enugu will resume.
