ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES EXTENDS REACH INTO EASTERN EUROPE

While not flying to Kiev has Ethiopian Airlines nevertheless expanded their reach to Ukraine’s capital city through code share arrangements with Ukraine International Airlines. Connections are now available out of Ethiopians following destinations: Dubai and Istanbul connecting with UIA to Kiev and in addition an onward route from Kiev to Tiblisi.
In turn will Ukraine’s national carrier be able to put their flight number on connections via Dubai and Istanbul to Addis Ababa, Mahe / Seychelles and Windhoek / Namibia.
Additional discussions between the two airlines are reportedly underway to further expand the current codeshare which is limited to just three routes each, yet does Ethiopian fly to over 50 destinations across Africa.
