25TH BOEING B78 DELIVERY FLIGHT UNDERWAY TO ADDIS ABABA

The delivery flight is underway for Ethiopian Airlines 25th Boeing B787 Dreamliner, due to land in Addis Ababa later tonight.
The aircraft, configured in a two class cabin layout of business 2x2x2 and economy classes 3x3x3, will further help Ethiopian to increase frequencies to key destinations and also launch new long haul destinations, as the airline continues to be on an extension drive like few others in Africa.
The aircraft was assembled at Boeing’s plant in Charleston / South Carolina and once integrated into the airline’s operation will bring the fleet of this aircraft type to 25. The delivery will bring the number of B787-9’s to overall 6 with the balance of aircraft being B787-8’s.
