Ethiopian Q400 suffers runway excursion in Juba

An Ethiopian Airlines DH Q400 reportedly suffered a collapsed left gear while taking off at Juba’s International Airport, leading to a runway excursion. From information received none of the passengers or crew were injured and all were safely evacuated from the aircraft.
The plane, registered as ET-AQC, MSN 4421 operated flight ET357, coming from Entebbe in Uganda and after a scheduled stop then heading to Addis Ababa.
After an initial halt in operations were aircraft taking off and landing then diverted to Juba’s runway 31 while awaiting the Q400 to be shifted to an apron position after collecting and documenting evidence for the unfolding air accident investigation.
