ETHIOPIAN’S RETURN SIGNALS NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR ZIMBABWE TOURISM

Ethiopian Airlines Group, Africa’s largest airline has announced the resumption of its flights to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, no doubt one of Africa’s most iconic sites, effective 06th of October,2020.

Customers are advised that Facemasks will be mandatory for travel and are requested to satisfy destination entry requirements such as PCR COVID-19 Clearance certificate issued by the recognized facility within 48 hours from the date of departure, in line with WHO guidelines. As countries continue to open their borders and relax travel restrictions, Ethiopian is ready to increase frequencies to accommodate the demand by focusing on the wellbeing of customers and staff. Ethiopian is happy to welcome back business and leisure travelers to these destinations.

In East Africa is it only Entebbe which is presently not being served as the international airport will only reopen on the 01st of October. Pre-pandemic outbreak did Ethiopian Airlines fly as many as 8 daily services into Entebbe, some direct while others in combination with regional destinations. All other regional airports have seen Ethiopian’s scheduled passenger flights reinstated.
