2020 has been an exceptionally difficult year for all of us. The COVID-19 global pandemic has devastated the entire world with huge human and economic costs with a long term consequence. It feels good that we are leaving this challenging year behind us and look forward to the new year with hope and best wishes. New year is a wonderful time when the best feelings in our hearts come to the surface. Let’s give a warm welcome to the new year, cherish each moment the year shall behold, and celebrate a blissful start. You may wish to know that even in the period of unprecedented global crisis, your airline, Ethiopian Airlines, kept on investing heavily in product and service improvement and upgrades. In our ground services, we have finalized the airport expansion and renovation project at our Addis Ababa main hub airport. The airport is now serving you all with the most modern facilities, products, and services including our new Business Class/Platinum and Star Gold lounges. Safety being our top priority, we have introduced a new product called " Touch-less travel " to ensure biosafety and prevent possible spread of the COVID-19. With this product, you can manage your entire travel transaction with your mobile phone without any physical contact. Inflight, besides complying with all international regulatory requirements for COVID-19 protocols, we are expanding our Inflight Wi-Fi services from our Airbus airplanes to all of our B-787 and B-777 fleet to keep you connected with your loved ones while you are flying in the sky.
